Mid Michigan
I'm getting 3.5 % right now on a guaranteed fund from Mass Mutual in their fixed income plan for investments. It's the only one I've ever found so far paying that rate. I would also be curious what plan at his bank pays that much. Seems like my cd rates are at about 1.5%. Not very good. As far as paying stuff off or sending payments, I think it's very hard to save up large quantities of money and takes a very long time so sometimes it seems ok to keep the cash on hand an make the payments until it feels right to a guy to pay something off. When an emergency comes up it's very good to have some cash on hand you can get that day without hassle.
