WC MN | 2008 2009 2010 2011 all had excessive moisture in parts of the corn belt at certain times. Most of the corn belt has had about 10-14 months of drier than normal conditions. Part of the below trendline yields in 10' and 11' was because ot was so wet earlier in the growing season then turned dry. There is no such thing as normal. Normal is an average of extremes which seems about how things are going the last 5 years. | |
