It looks like the new normal is 10-12" of rain in the wheat belt and 15-18" in the cornbelt. The world can and will adjust to 8 to 10 billion bushel corn crops, more summer fallow in the west, and much lower seeding rates. It will simply take a few years for the hubris to get punished. It won't be worse, it will just be different.
