Thompsontown, Pennsylvania | i was the first person from my chapter to get their american degree in indy....national conventional was always a blast, 4-5 local chapters chartered a bus for a week and went together...always met alot of people...i went 3 times in high school and went along on the bus trip to indy....amazing experience and i didn't even get to walk the stage, was a mix up between our advisors and the pa state advisor as to what order and approxiamate time the pa degree would be handed out....was working for my grandpa at the time and crop farming some too (spent parts of two days organizing some combining to take place while i was gone) and grandpa wasn't terrible pleased that i was gone for a week as my cousin in high school was along as well and my dad had just switched jobs as well and they had NO help at the dairy that week BUT he made sure to tell me how dissappointed he was that they some how "missed" me walking the stage on RFDTV..... |
