| The crew you're talking about may very well be a bunch of loads, but I'd just like to remind you and others, that those trucks and the roadway is their office. Because they are in the public eye at all times, people love to complain about the utility guys sitting in their trucks doing nothing. These same people are the ones that go and hide away in their office, spend 10 minutes every hour on bathroom, coffee, and socializing breaks. You may be saying that doesn't apply to me, well just remember when you are sitting in your a.c./heated cab, they are out IN the weather and may just be sitting in their cab trying to warm up or cool down. Yes, I'm a utility worker and yes, I used to think just like the general public. | |
