NW Central Ohio | ...I think I'd want a post deeper than 26 inches. I don't know why you think you need 55 inch high wire...47 inch is plenty. If you think you need more height...put a string of barbed along the top. We used to have both square hole woven wire fence...and rectangular hole woven wire. The rectangular will allow them to twist their head to the side..and get it back out when they invariably will stick their head through it. I think they make a 6"x 8" rectangular these days that sounds like it would be a good woven choice for sheep. | |
