![](http://www.feedsource.com/images/wywldd.gif) Southeast Wyoming | I have a good friend/neighbor who lost his arm in a farming related accident. We seldom notice his "disability" because he has so much ability that it masks what he struggles with.
I called him this summer about a part and he had one he would sell. Without thinking I said: "I suppose you want and arm and a leg for it?" Then I remembered and went on to say: "Well, at least an arm." We both laughed and I apologized and he mentioned a similar incident.
We have to realize that things happen unfortunately, and learn to accept people based on their character, or even their lack of character. We need to walk a mile in their shoes; "their" being anyone we tend to put down for ANY reason. |
