n.c.iowa | Foliardud - 10/23/2012 09:57 Ed We see Bray number vary high this year 200 to 345 and the LaMotte only at 80 - 120 pounds per acre, the bray number as a high would be 50 ppm, and the LaMotte would be 178 pounds per acre and we either hit our goal or we where so far off it was scary. The real question with 10-34-00 at 10 gallons a great starter but not long term residual for nutrients, if you were to apply Soft Rock Phos 150 lbs./acre MAP 25 - 50 lbs./acre and your 10-34-00 I beleive there may have been a big difference? Higher nutrients will weather proof a crop this would be a statement my friend Dr. Michael Mc Neill stated last year in fact we both agree that good nutrient will give you an extra 3-4 inches of water The long answer might be you used a good product but not enough other nutrients? is this the same dr. mcneill from algona? |
