P tests are not and exact science. Being short 40 bushel from year yield goal only save you about 14 to 16 units of phosphate that you already applied. So 10 gal of 10-34-0 plus that extra you didn't use theoretically and mathematically would be close but then again p tests and p uptake is not an exact science.
