Martinsville, Ohio
The "auditors" I know have no idea what you planted, only there to find out what you report.

The company that sold the trait knows what their retailers reported.

As far as RIB, I heard complaints that the refuge seed came up at a different time than the traited seed. That is not good.

As far as buying from different companys or buying from the same company should not affect the auditor or what he or she is looking for. It makes record keeping a little more complicated all through the system, especially to the farmer trying to report. Not difficult at all for some farmers.

As far as "them idiots" you agreed(whether you think you did or not) to comply when you bought the trait. The trait company reports to EPA as per their license agreement. The trait company can refuse to sell you their trait and that has happened but is rare with such competition between companies. If that is not a big issue, why don't farmers plant last year's traited soybeans? We all know the answer to that.
