Poverty, understand how you feel, especially when things are very dry and feed for the coming winter is short. I spend a lot of time in SD.

The raised bull I sold is actually a very mobile bull. He has been on my neighbors place for the past couple months where the only water source is a spring that comes out of the rocky hillside deep in a ravine. Not like SD, but not babied either.

I hope we both get some rain soon. Have you tried rotational grazing? It can really help stretch what grazing there is.  Best of luck.
