West Ky

hedgefund farmer - 9/3/2012 20:34 yes the question that needs to be asked is what the heck are the bottom 50-60% in this country paying no taxes doing? Yes I know they maybe pay a few of the small taxes like sales tax, gas tax etc. . Are they paying their fair share? And 2ndly why the world do taxes need to be higher and higher. Need to get govt size under control asap

Nobody should be paying any tax at all. We operated for a very long time without any taxes.

Usually the people who make the most money will pay more taxes. For example a guy who makes 50,000,000 a year will pay 9,500,000, in taxes. Yes that is outrageous but on the other hand he just made 50 mil for the year. An average person who makes 25k a year pays 4,875.00 in taxes. So that rich guy has paid the same amount as 2000 people making 25k a year.

I get so sick and tired of listening to Hannity and Limbaugh saying that the rich pay all the taxes and the bottom 90% pay nothing. That is an outry lie.
