| made my move 6 years ago from south ontario 8000/acre 300/acre rent dog eat dog rat race to southern manitoba 1500/acre 70/acre rent slower pace at 45 years old, main reasons to move; i own what i farm now not a tenant anymore ,better margins, easier to grow without standing on someones toes,my kids can start farming and lastly did i say not a tenant anymore now im the landlord 5300 acres p.s.a little nervous making the move ,no regrets,should have done it 20 years earlier! | |
