Subject: Re: Broadcasting tillage radishes

Edgeley, ND
I have broadcast with an airplane before but the moisture was not good so had very little germination. It was more suc than success. Also have been to a meeting with NDSU and they have found that radish roots like to grow down into the tile lines unless you have a sock over the tile line. I saw a photo of what they were talking about. It was a 4" lateral and was partially full of roots. I mention this because you said you just finished tiling. My question is would these roots decay and flush out of the line with the water??????
