Martinsville, Ohio
That's a darned good question, thought many times about that in the past.

Southeast Iowa was my number one pick until ethanol came and corn doubled in price, now quadrupled. Rent and purchase is too high there now so that is out of the question.

I was offered a job to teach Vo Ag south of Champaign when I was a young teacher and my students were on the stage at National FFA Convention. Ex Wife said you can go by yourself and I should have but that is in the past, too.

Good old southern Ohio is probably the best place for me for value today, not counting friends and family. Actually I have more friends in other places like SE Iowa now but I guess they don't know me that well yet...

Our land price and yield is probably one of the best values in the nation.

I would have to go someplace where they have rolling hills, notill is not popular and they never heard of cover crops.
