NC, IA 50653 | Yeah, its just very hard to tell... like you we have some that didn't pollinate very well and only have half ears but we have also been finding some completly filled with no tip back and of course there are the high sandy spots that withered away before ever producing an ear. For us it just seems like there are more good spots then bad which we are very thankful for. Haha, now that i say that I hope I don't jinks myself. On the other hand beans are looking to be exactly as you describe a lot fewer pods then usual. Did you really get 1.2" of rain Saturday or did you mean a 1/2"? | |
