You need to buy out your contracts in October as the fall price sets. Buy the percentage bushels you are going to be short at the same percentage the price is set through the month. Thats what I'm going to do and thats what I did last year. Then it won't matter if the price rallies you will have the contracts bought back at the same price as insurance.
