Subject: Re: Pulling a disk with a pickup truck vs hauling

West Texas
This Sunflower is so heavy it will not sway back and forth but if it ever does it will take the pickup pulling it right off the road!

Right after we got ours I was pulling it with our Cat coming up to a county road that I needed to turn onto. There was a semi coming from the other way so I decided to not slow down too much and beat the semi. Big mistake! Once I hit the dirt/gravel that disk pushed me right towards the ditch! Yes, the disk pushed the tractor like it was on ice!

That said, I have pulled ours with my then 1 ton pickup with no problems but only on wide back roads to our other farms. 15 miles at the most.
