I think I would require a deposit. Your cost of production will be higher and if he finds cheaper hay you could be looking for a new market or selling at a non organic price. Even if you have a contract, the contract could have minimum standards that could be hard to meet without the use of non organic herbicide, insecticide or fertilizer.
