| In the '80's, Dome pipeline buried a natual gas pipe through Renville Co, MN. They would go around wildlife habitat, but no problem within a couple hundred feet (or less) of an occupied building site. The matter went to court. Dome's lawyer asked a crusty old farmer how close to a house is too close for this pipeline. His answer, "would that be your house or mine"? No further questions were asked about the matter. I think they had to stay 500' away. | |
