East Tennessee
Sundogs or quail sitting on barbwire fence are good signs.

It'll rain after a crop is burned up good.
It'll rain when the hot dry wind quits. -btw it can go on for months around here.
After you've made the decision for the highest level of crop insurance possible.
After you lay down the most beautiful hay crop.
After you strip the roof off of your house for new roof.
After you plant your cotton a little extra deep to reach moisture and sprout before hot drydown.
As soon as you finish rotary hoeing every field.

I guess I could go on and on.
