The aquifer may not be declining in Nebraska, but it certainly is here. People are punching more and more holes to offset the decline in existing wells. I have heard of and seen wells that were punched in the 50s that never have pumped air that are now. Hopefully, they will get some more research going in weed control for Milo as it is getting tougher to raise all corn.
