Heat in August and early Sept is a killer on beans here, I talking about 5-15 bu per acre. Last year I some July 2 wheat beans that looked like history, tropical storm rolled in and gave me 3-4" of rain in a couple of days, averaged over 40 bu. This year might be different, but most growers around here would rather have cotton, corn or wheat/bean over full season beans. Wilson
