Subject: Beans in heat question for bean boys in from the south.

For you guys that are used to hot and dry spells. How on earth do beans hold on so long in the stuff. Had a week of 100 plus with no rain and the corn has burned up. Ground is hard as a rock and the beans still look the same at night and mornings. I remember the 80s and no one dare plant corn here unless you planned to cut it for feed and beans did well except for 88. Last year we had some beans that hardly ever grew early from some authority xl damage. Got a rain end of July and they made 50. How long without rain before beans die?
