Subject: Long irrigation reel and pump?

North Central Alabama
I need a rig to water about 16 acres of Bermuda grass.I will have to move it about 5 times the way i figure since the field is not straight.I do not have alot of money to spend. I found a package that has been used to pump manure about 80 miles from my house.I am going to look at it today. It includes a Long brand 1560 Reel with 4" hose turbine has been replaced with a small Honda gas engine,Homemade pumping unit with a 354 Perkins with a Gould 3196 pump,1000' 5" Ames style hard alumiumn pipe in 30' sections. Is the 5" pipe large enough to run the travler? He says the Ames pipe is easy to put together and will move more at the coupling.
