| Personally I like a TIG welder. But what everyone has said is true it depends mostly on what you are going to weld with it. Ideally to TIG weld you need the part laying on the welding table to weld it because remember you have to use both hands and one foot. Spool guns are easy to use and a lot.cheaper than a TIG outfit. If I was repairing irrigation risers and tractor steps I'd go with the spool gun. | |
