Subject: Re: watering trees

Northeast Nebraska
I screwed 3 "tees" together. The garden hose comes in the middle. Then on the other 4 ends I have a 3/8" hose barb. I run a short piece of hose into a pressure check valve that holds an orifice. I'm running a #98 orifice, which provides 1.25 gpm at 40 psi. I water 8 trees at once, for a total of 10 gpm. Thats what my well puts out.

I leave the hoses on for an hour. Each tree gets 75 gallon and much doesnt run-off. I do it once a week on spring planted 2' spruce trees.

2 rows of trees. the rows are 20' apart. Each tree is 25' apart in the rows
