| our 8630 with the 50 series engine was ok but typical john deere. drank too much fuel, cost too much when we bought it and didn't get that much when we sold it with a new rebuilt engine. wouldn't have one back if i had too. where i live it seemed like everyone had one. 4wheel drive, 3pt hitch, and pto. thats what sold so many people on them. where are they now? well some are in fence rows, one i know is in the weeds being used as a deer stand (yes its true), and one farmer just put a new deer engine in his. cost him $20k. i hear what you are saying about the cat engine. i hear good and bad things. thank you for your input | |
