Subject: RE: soybean seed

central - east central Minnesota -

Ka Ching - 6/22/2012 06:38 is there any seed company that sells bean in a 50 pound bag or have they all gone to 140000 seeds per bag?this the biggest rip off there ever was

Pioneer has . . . .  but this is the last year for them, they too will covert to 140,000 seeds/unit for next season.
Planted a lot of 32-34 lb bags of 140,000 unit beans for guys this year. Pioneer was a better buy (lot'ta small seed this season, in my growing region). Lot of 50 lb units of Pioneer at 3350 - 3500 seed count, this season.
Too bad, wish they would have stayed with 50 lb units - but can see why they'd follow the pack ( $$$$ )
