We put a real spendy bug killer called "mycotrol" in the trench..........if it is wire worms........and I can certainly believe it after doing some reading after JohnW  mentioned it.........the stuff merely makes them sick, but between the time of being too sick to function, the little suckers can eat.

I'm going to do another pass on them, and get some pictures.

If it is wire worms..........will be the first case that we have known about in over 7 years.

Other than cutworms on one farm several years ago, we just have not had insect problems.
