But Garvo can still sell old crop and buy back new crop, and gain about .20 less than what posted prices indicate. IF.........he thinks once we get thru dryness we will have "normal" price patterns, then he should sell carryover now and rebuy at harvest lows in Oct. IF...... he doesn't want to take that risk, because feeding livestock is enough excitement already, then buy and sell at the same time, locking in some profit. Just make sure to do the buying thing with somebody you know will have the physical corn. | |
