Breakfast - Dinner - Supper = sit down meal. Lunch is something you pack along with you. Lunch can be something you snack on at odd hours of the day. Lunch is also a meal, many times around noon, that you get for "free" at a bull sale, farm supplier, equipment dealer, etc.
What final meal did Jesus eat with His friends? He had a last supper. Not a last dinner.
