David,

Might be done with the heifers, but we are long ways from done on the corn and bean planting season so not going to be "stress free" for some time yet. 

I am thankful for having the heifers (and cows so far) calve out in the pastures on their own with no problems. It is amazing to me that they can have these good sized calves on their own.  I am not weighing them but this bull calf is obviously not a "65 lb" calf. 

Now if this new one can make it through the next couple cold, wet days... I see his dam standing over him trying to shield him from the rain a bit. He also seems to be nursing aggressively. Should be OK.
