I had a guy try to explain it to me and all I came away with is the bigger the dairy, the higher cost of production. They claim they make it up with any or little profit times many more cows. Still don't know how they don't go under. Local 800 cow dairy cost of production around 17-18$ per hundred where mine is around 14-15$ per hundred on 40-50 cows.
Mega Dairy Economics??
