New London, Wisconsin | I agree with crowbar and the others. Most of the model 99's are now seen as collectables more than the working guns they used to be. I do collect guns myself. I don't have a 99 but have been quietly looking for one in 250-3000 (250). If the receiver is tapped for a scope and it wasn't done at the factory it really hurts the value. Rotary mags with the brass indicator are the ones most want. Nice sounding gun, but perhaps a little stiff on price. One would have to see it to know. Some are worth more than that, but not many.
