Complaint or Symptom :

Customer wants to field install John Deere Premium Radio Package or aftermarket radio.

Problem or Situation :

No field kit available for Premium Radio Package.

Aftermarket radio doesn’t communicate with CSM buttons.

Solution :

If Premium Radio Package is desired, it must be ordered from factory, field installation is not supported.

John Deere does not support installation of any aftermarket radios. Aftermarket radios do not communicate on CAN bus.

Additional Information :

Only radio package for field installation is Deluxe Radio (RE298952).
