Subject: Older field cultivators and trash clearance.

West Central Iowa
I am looking for an older (as in cheap-only used on 100A ) field cultivator to use in the spring on fall worked corn ground. The ground will be disked and probably chisel plowed or turbo tilled in the fall. Will any of the older field cultivators work decent without plugging? Seems there are a lot of older Wil-Rich field cultivators for sale pretty reasonable. I know they are getting old, but if I found one in decent shape would it do the job? Did they all have harrows on the back or was that an option. Any brands that would work OK and any to stay away from? Also, how big of one could I pull with a 7120 MFWD Magnum, 175-180HP ?

Thanks!
