I wouldnt buy a hyd 3rd link without the check valve and would buy at least for a category 3. With a 16r planter hanging back there with no liftassist, you dont want that cylinder to let go without the check valve or you will be replacing all the closing wheels and arms and other damage, just ask a friend of mine, that check valve is worth every penny.
