The augers basically rotate in the bearing with the bearing being nothing more than a turning point. The lenght of the auger shaft protruding through the bearing and sprocket hold it centered in the spreader by the snap rings on each end of the lower auger and on the rear of the top auger. The augers don,t have real locking eccentric collars just allen screws. Lynn
