perryton, tx | I delivered a backwards calf this afternoon-i was pretty surprised that he was alive but he seems to be doing well, except he can't stand. He attempts to get up and gets up on his back legs but only up on his front knees for a bit and then goes back down. Is this just a matter of him being weak or some kind of problem with his front legs as they seem to fold beneath him rather easily. I tubed some milk from mama into him which i hope will get him stronger. Any help appreciated. | |
