Western Iowa Manning | Putting a 3 rod suckerrod fence just off the cement on back of feed apron. Deep bed the back (corn stalks). Dad started hauling in gravel today so we can put a 4 inch gravel base under the bedded part. In theory this gives you a solid base while still allowing liquid to perferate through it. The back wall will have a roll up curtain, and there is an 8 inch vented ridge in the tarp. If you look close the hoops themselves are 2 7/8 oil field pipe that we had rolled, and instead of wood uprights we used 4' well caseing pipe. | |
