| On our COC we run a 330 True Tandem in the fall then hit it with a Dominator. In the spring we weither run over the ground with a soil finisher then the 330 or 2x with the 330. You really need to get the residue broke down as much as possible to keep from tying up nitrogen in the spring. Helps to put some N on in the fall to speed up decomposition. I also like to put some N on ahead of planting then finish with a sidedress application of 50# of N.
We also moleboard some of our COC in the fall. Seems like the ground warms up quicker in the spring. when using a plow
