Subject: Trapping coyotes

I've been trapping a few of the devil-dogs here and there the past few weeks and I'm starting to wittle at the population some. However I've kinda been learning on the job and finding out what works and what doesn't through trial and error. I've been using mostly flatsets and dirt-hole sets along field roads with Bridger #2 and #3 footholds with pretty good success but I don't think I'm gonna run them to extinction anytime soon. The other day I caught 2 (different farms) with flatsets about 30 yards into an open field using staked orange flags to get their attention and then let the scent lures do the trick. Anybody have any good tricks up their sleeve that they have had good luck with?
