Subject: used martin spikes on bean planter

East central Indiana
I have some extra martin spikes was considering putting pairs of them on splitter bean planter they are down to 11 and 5/8 diameter the tines are about inch and half long. Will these work nicely for this since beans don't get planted as deep or am i better off staying with factory rubber, or replacing wheel and run one 15 inch spike per row? By the way this is no till only and how do drag chains work in all the corn residue with no row cleaners?
