In simple matters, such as getting a format for a simple contract, one that can be cut and pasted..........fine..........I use one of the "legal" softwares all the time.......
...for putting in contract form the items I know the attorney needs to address in the final contract.

But.......for important, ongoing situations where permanent structures are required............foolish not to use a specialist........ie an attorney.

At minimum..........if don't use an attorney............then one loses the liability insurance package he carries.
