I worked for a coop many years. They cannot legally withhold a grain check or deduct what you owe them from the check. If they have a lein on your crops than they can add their name to the check. I have seen the manager demand a check from the customer when he picks up the payment but isn't legal I would guess this a billing error as in most cases.
Co-op has way over charged me????
