Several years ago, I had a field that soil tests called for 2+ tons of lime per acre. It had just been leveled. Decided to put rice on it and check it the next year. Put out the recommended P and K and farmed rice as usual, the next year soil tests came back ok. Have never had to put lime out on anything rotated with rice..
Do you know the reason for this ? Is your water high in PH? Just wondering |
