WCIN | Here's my 2 cents worth on the Gold Rush. I sure do get a kick out of the show and agree with rbd and others that a bunch of us farmers could get the job done and be home before the bad weather sets in. The thing about the show that really sticks in my craw is the butcher job that they do on the landscape and have no DNR or FSA conservation cops jumping up and down every time they push down a tree or turn a creek brown from the dirt being washed away. Farmers in the lower states sure couldn't get by doing the things I see them do on the show. Mining operations around here have to put the land "back"as it was. (not that they do or even can) Since rbd has dibs on the D9 I am calling dibs on the pickup truck and the "BOSS" helmet. Who wants the excavator? | |
