how is that a spineless jab, I'd suspect if you want to drag your "friend" through court in a lawsuit for his poor performance, I'd suspect the friendship might falter a little bit, don't know, I personally think this farmer is a poor manager for not getting a claim filed, yes the agent is probably lazy like most other insurance agents, but when I got a financial interest in something, especially this big, I don't just hope somebody else takes care of it for me, but I figured everyone would gang up on me for saying that, why do people always want to blame their problems and incompetence on somebody else.  $61k is a lot of money and I guess it is like renting ground out from under your neighbors, it's "just business", so I'd imagine after a lawyer contacts this guy and gets a lawsuit rolling, they'll still be best friends and you'd never know anything ever happened as it is "just business"
