It has been years since I planted any, but I think shooting for 5 seeds per ft. in 30" rows. Made a little over 100 bu per acre. I had the slow speed sprockets on my 7100 and had to split the rows on the first 75 acres and had 75 acres on 30" rows with the same population with no yield difference. I like the 30's better so I could spray salt without running down the milo. You need your nitrogen out early or sidedress when it is about 2-3" tall. Wilson
